A flattened, translucent yellow calcite crystal from Daye has a broad sloping face and a thin projecting edge. Cloudy internal areas and pale reflective patches interrupt the lemon-yellow tone.
Viewed from the side, the broad crystal narrows to a blade-like profile. The white support visible beneath it is part of the display arrangement, not a claimed natural mineral association.
